Marie B. Lloyd
Homemaker, beloved mother, grandmother and Senior Care Instructor.
Marie B. Lloyd, 69, born in New York on August 27, 1941, a survivor of breast cancer and lymphoma, passed from complications of pneumonia on August 25, 2011 at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, surrounded by her family. She is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years, H.S. Lloyd of Annapolis, son Tony Lloyd, Sr. of Severn, MD, three daughters; Cindy Rausch of Ridgley, MD, Cheryl Turner of Stevensville, MD and Denise Evans of Annapolis, 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, sister Charlotte Rossi of Stevensville and two nephews.
Marie (Nanny) was the family matriarch and very much enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her sister and very close neighbors. Some of her pleasures included senior care education, arts and crafts, dining out and the occasional trip to the casinos.
Visitation is at Taylor Funeral Home, 147 Duke of Gloucester St., Annapolis, on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Marie was a parishioner of St. Mary's and St. John Neumann, and a mass service will be held for her at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 620 N. Bestgate Road, Annapolis.
The burial will follow the mass at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, 1911 Forest Drive, Annapolis. Memorial donations in Marie's name can be made to Johns Hopkins Cancer Center
