Marie F. Hund, 82, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2009, at her home in Norfolk, VA. Born in Mechanicsburg, PA, to the late Edward and Lottie Fetrow, Marie was a retired manager for Tupperware. She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Norfolk for 46 years, where she was a member of the choir and the Comfort Committee. She also volunteered with Meals on Wheels. Marie was the widow of Lewis O. Hund, and is survived by three daughters, Lucinda Hund Shinault and husband Wirt of Norfolk, VA, Suzanne Hund Mehaffey and husband Timothy of Greensboro, NC, and Charlotte Hund Petersen and husband John of Vera Beach, FL; three sons, Timothy Scott Hund and wife Phyllis of Norfolk, VA, Michael Lewis Hund and wife Cindy of Mechanicburg, PA, and Patrick James Hund and wife Diane of Elmhurst, IL; a sister, Alice Sandoval of Albuquerque, NM; sixteen grandchildren, Christopher, Jennifer, Aimee, Sean, Angelique, Andrew, Jonathan, Elizabeth, Henry, William, Molly, John, Eleanore, Samantha, Lauren, and Lukas; and five great grandchildren, Savannah, Nathan, Andrew, Landon and Alex. She was predeceased by her stepmother, Nellie Fetrow; and brothers, Harold and David Fetrow. A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday at First Lutheran Church with Pastor James P. Blalock officiating. Burial will be private. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First in Faith Building Fund of First Lutheran Church. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
