Captain Mario A. Pagano, 71, of Hobe Sound, Florida, died August 3, 2011, at the Martin Memorial Medical Center, Stuart.
Born in Johnston, Rhode Island, he was a resident of Hobe Sound for 12 years coming from Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. He moved to Florida from Narragansett, Rhode Island.
Prior to retirement he, owned and operated the charter boat “Fish Trap” in Point Judith, Rhode Island. He also owned and operated tackle manufacturing company. He was an avid golfer and a member of the Lost Lakes Country Club.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Pagano of Hobe Sound; sons, David Pagano of Boca Raton, Florida and Mark Pagano of Jupiter, Florida; a daughter, Cynthia Mariacher of West Palm Beach; a sister Ann Marie Gabriel of Columbia, South Carolina.; brothers, Richard Pagano and Joseph Pagano and four grandchildren.
SERVICES: There will be a gathering of family and friends from 3:00 to 4:00 PM on August 7, 2011 at Forest Hills Funeral Homes Young and Prill Chapel, Stuart with a memorial service at 4:00 PM.
