Lexington – Mrs. Marion A. (Boutilier) Behnke, of Lexington, died Sunday, November 1st 2009 in The Golden Living Center after a period of failing health. She was 92.
Marion was born on July 10, 1917 in Cambridge a daughter of the late Norman and Alice (Nee) Boutilier and lived many years in Cambridge before moving to Lexington in 1951.
She worked as a lunch matron for over 25 years at The Harrington School and later worked at the Fairlawn Nursing Home.
She is predeceased by her husband, Albert C. Behnke and her children, Robert B. Behnke and Barbara J. Colpitts and her brother, Norman Boutilier.
She is survived by her grandchildren, James C. Colpitts of Peterborough, NH, Deborah A. Colpitts of Temple, NH and Cathy J. Maki of Jaffrey, NH; her sister-in-law, Jean Boutilier of Wakefield; also survived by six great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass Friday, Nov. 6th in Sacred Heart Church, 21 Follen Road, Lexington at 10:00AM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Please go directly to the church.
Visiting hours at The Stanton Funeral Home, 786 Mt. Auburn St., (Rt. 16) WATERTOWN on Thursday from 5 – 7PM. Interment in Westview Cemetery, Lexington.
