Mark Allan Chamel, 50 years old of Hammond, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2013, at North Oaks Medical Center.
He was born on Sunday, January 27, 1963, in New Orleans.
Mr. Chamel was the owner of Chamel's Automotive.
Surviving are his wife, Donna Brown Chamel; 2 daughters, Alayna Chamel and Ashley Chamel; father, Raoul Chamel; brother, Kenneth Chamel; and 2 sisters, Edris Macera and Monica Chamel.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Carol Ann Aubert Chamel.
Friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond, Saturday, July 27, 2013, from 11:00 am until the funeral service at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Kevin Dunn officiating.
Interment will follow in the Parklawn Memorial Gardens in Hammond.
