MILLERSBURG-Mark E. (Ducky) Cooper, age 80, of 915 E. Union St. passed away on Wednesday, March 16 at the Manor At Susquehanna Village. He was born in Matamoras, PA, the son of the late George and Mary Knobl Cooper. He was a graduate of Millersburg High School class of 1948 and a US Air Force veteran of the Korean War. Mark was a member of the former Bonnie Scots and West Shoreman drum corps, member of the Grace UM Church, Millersburg American Legion and Millersburg VFW . He retired as Human Resources manager from Brubaker Tool Corp. with 47 years of service. He enjoyed golfing and going to Cherry Run hunting camp. Survivors include his wife of 57 years Joyce Boyer Cooper; two daughters Diane Nestler and her husband Randy of Millersburg and Jan Savner and her husband Drew of Long Beach, MS; a son David Cooper and his wife Lori of Shamokin Dam; three sisters Evelyn Dressler of Millersburg, Pat Enck of Enola, Lindy Smith of Penbrook, six grandchildren Nicole, Megan, and Kami Nestler, Jesse Marino, Jeremy and Ryan Cooper. He was preceded in death by a sister Ruth Koppenhaver and a brother Jack Cooper and nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Saturday March 19 from 10-11 am at Grace UM Church in Millersburg. A Memorial Service will be begin at 11:00 am with Rev. Doug Compton officiating.
