The Rev. Mark J. Brown, Ph.D.
April 29, 1952 - May 30, 2009
The Rev. Mark J. Brown, Ph.D., passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 30, 2009, at the age of 57 years, of brain cancer. He is survived by Rita (nee Lepien). He was the beloved father of Justin (Genevieve), Holly, Travis and Carrie; proud "PaPa" of Nicholas and Valerie; brother of David Geilenfeldt; and loving son of Louis (the late Lucielle) Geilenfeldt and the late Thomas Brown. He will be missed by his family and
Mark was the owner of the Natural Medicine Clinic in City of Pewaukee. He received his doctorate in Quantum Biology, working with biofeedback
therapies. He was also a reverend at St. Anne's Church in Hartland. Mark previously worked in Radiology and was the head of the Ultrasound Department in Waukesha and Oconomowoc Memorial hospitals. Other interests for Mark included participating in triathlons, playing, coaching and watching soccer, hiking on nature trails, composing and performing music.
A Memorial Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon to 3:00 PM on Sunday, June 7, with a Memorial Service at 2:00 PM at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 380 Bluemound Road (at highways J and JJ, four blocks south of Interstate 94), Waukesha.
The family would like to thank the caring staff at AngelsGrace Hospice.
