Mark Richard Lacey, 54, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, died June 29, 2012 at his home.
Born in Waterloo, Iowa, he had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for 14 years coming from Marblehead, Massachusetts.
He was a graduate of Hamilton College, Clinton, New York.
He taught science on both the middle and high school level and most recently taught at Lincoln Park Academy, Fort Pierce.
He is survived by a sister Joann Lacey Martinec of Chicago, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard J. and Constance Lacey and a brother Andrew James Lacey.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Forest Hills Funeral Homes Palm City Chapel.
