Mark Sipes, 56, of Bagdad, Ariz., passed away Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, in his home with his loving family. The son of Garnet and Marjorie Sipes was born on Dec. 4, 1955, in Prescott, Ariz.
He was a bull rider, cowboy, father, husband, "Papa," uncle, brother and friend. He has worked at Bagdad Copper Mine since 1973. He loved going to the corrals with his horses and grandkids. He loved to hunt and was a very simple man who liked the simple things in life.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Garnet and Marjorie Sipes; his brothers, Bud, Mickey and Garnet; and his sister Mohea.
Mark is survived by his wife, Pamela; children, Shaunte (Joel), Nikki (Jimmy), Margie (Herbert), Ashley (Jerry), and Logan (Ashley); and grandchildren, Ariel, Arya, Kaleb, Kaylee, Lindsay, Jayden, MaKenize (Donking), Miranda, Leilani and Lilah (Buddah).
A memorial will be noon Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, at Camp Wood, "Mark's heaven on Earth." Blue ribbons will be placed on the road to show the way.
