Dawdy, Marleen R., 76, passed away January 7, 2012. She was born October 24, 1935 to Perry Arthur and Anna Bertha (Reinbolt) Rittgers in Salina, KS. Marleen enjoyed sewing and was quite a decorator. She was a very devoted grandmother. Marleen worked as a receptionist and bookeeper for Dr. Ronald Davis and Dr. Mark Davis at their dentist office. Marleen is survived by her husband of 58 years, Marvin Dawdy; children, Cynthia Ann Miltner of Cranberry Township, PA and Linda Kay (Mike)Howell of Wichita, KS; and grandchildren, Shaun Miltner, Charles Miltner, Jason Miltner, Allison Howell, and Craig Howell. Service: 2 pm, Thursday at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 1101 North River Blvd., Wichita, KS 67203. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Hospice Care of Kansas, or Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. The family would like to thank Debra, Ja Tonna, Mark, Larry, and Julie of Hospice Care of Kansas and the staff of Sedgwick Health Care Center for their wonderful service over the years.
