Marlene Hoffman - Black, 73, of Huntsville passed away on Friday January 28th 2011 at Huntsville Hospital. Marlene was a loving mother, wife and grandmother.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday January 30th at Valhalla Funeral Home in Huntsville. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday January 31th, 2011 at Valhalla Funeral Home with Dr. Ron Madison of Mount Zion Baptist church officiating. Burial will follow in the Valhalla Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her, husband, Percy Hoffman. Mrs. Hoffman-Black is survived by her husband Odis “Jim” Black, her children David Alan Hoffman, Richard Adam Hoffman and his wife Debbie; her step-sons Charles Black, Robert Black and Donald Black; her grandson Daniel Hoffman and his wife Tammy; her granddaughter Valerie Hoffman; and her great grandchildren Terra, Aurora, and Lori; and her brother-in-law Stacey Hoffman.
