Marlene Kudlaty July 28, 1937 - November 9, 2011 Marlene Kudlaty of Waco passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2011, at Providence Hospital. Services will be 9:30 a.m., Friday, November 11, at First Presbyterian Church with the the Rev. Dr. Jimmie Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, November 10, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Marlene was born July 28, 1937, in Marlin, Texas, to Albert and Edna Marek. She taught school for 34 years at Mountainview and Parkdale Elementary Schools. Marlene was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Waco. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Frank Kudlaty, of Waco; her daughter, Dicque New and husband, Mark; son, Scott Kudlaty and wife, Carol; grandchildren, Jason New, Casey New, Katie Klumpp, Mark Alan New, Stephen Kudlaty, Nathan Kudlaty, and Kathryn Kudlaty; and her sister, Sandra Gregory. Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, Meals-On-Wheels, or the Cameron Park Zoo.
