Martha DeVall

Easley – Martha Dean Barber DeVall, 73, wife of Ray Winston DeVall, Sr. of Easley, passed from this life Tuesday, December 6, 2011.

Martha was born in Pittslyvania County, VA a daughter of the late Jessie Adkins Barber. She was retired from The Pickens County School District as a data entry specialist. Martha was a member of Turn Point Church of God.

Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Ray Winston DeVall, Sr. of the home, daughter Traci Dean DeVall of Easley and sons Ray Winston DeVall, Jr. (Anita) of Olive Branch, MS and Kevin Lee DeVall (Tori) of Liberty. Also surviving are grandchildren Gary, April, and Leann DeVall. Martha is also survived by brothers Cecil Edsel Barber and O. Eugene Barber (Joann) both of Danville, VA.

Funeral services will be conducted 3:30 PM Friday, December 9, 2011 in the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home with the Reverend David Byrd and the Reverend Tommy Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
