NEW YORK (AP) — Martin Richards, the Tony Award-winning producer behind such Broadway hits as "Sweeney Todd," and "The Will Rogers Follies," has died after battling cancer, his publicist said Tuesday. He was 80.

Publicist Judy Jacksina said Richards died Monday.
