Marvin Stutz Sr. age 77 of St. Paul Park, died Saturday, March 24, 2012 following a lengthy illness surrounded by his family. Marvin was born on April 25, 1934 in Canton, Ohio, the son of Gustav and Johanna (Bellman) Stutz. After graduating high school Marvin enlisted in the United States Air Force and served in the Korean War. Marvin worked for many years as a drafstman before retiring. He was a former commander of the St. Paul Park American Legion Post #98 and participated in the Post 98 Clown Club. Marvin was an avid golfer, he liked playing cards, solving crossword puzzles, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. He will be missed. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by ex-wife; Geneva; children, Patricia Aquino, Marvin Stutz Jr., Thomas (Heather) Stutz, Julie (Mark) Anderson and Janet Stutz; grandchildren, Alexandra, Samantha, Ryan, Gregory, Kyle, Shawna, Cassie, Randi, Jesse, Chantelle, Brady, Allison, Austin, Daniel, Corey and Casey; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, John (Jean) Stutz; sister, Marlene (Erich) Wesp and other family and friends. A visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at Kok Funeral Home, 1201 Portland Ave, St. Paul Park. A private interment will be held at a later date at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
