MARY A. BOWLES

Mary A. Bowles, 79, of Beckley, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 25, 2011.
Born February 6, 1932; she was a daughter of the late Frank Harding and the Lura White Grana.
A devout Christian who loved going to church, reading her bible daily; and spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her children's father, William H. Diehl; her second husband, Vernon McClanahan and her third husband, Lacy Bowles; a sister, Addilue Wagner; and two brothers, Martin S. Harding and Robert R. Harding; a granddaughter, Cecilia Diehl.
Those left to cherish her memory include her three sons, Sherman Diehl and wife, Lana of Sophia, Cecil Diehl and wife, Emma June of Crab Orchard, and Alex Diehl and wife, Sharon of Lanark; 4 grandchildren, Michelle Meadows and husband, Mike, Melodie Hunt, Gary Diehl and wife, Amy, and Dewayne Diehl and wife, Amber; great-grandchildren, Austin, Jenna and Jordan Harvey, Caysee, Saira, and Ally Diehl, and Benton Diehl; a brother, Curtis Harding and wife, Barbara of Florida a sister, Betty Jane Luzader of Tenn; her beloved pet and companion, Ms. Lucy; a host of nephews, nieces, and friends.
Friends may gather with the family on Thursday, September 29, 2011 from 6:00PM until 9:00PM at the funeral home.
Services will be held 1:00PM Friday, September 30, 2011 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley with Pastor Craig Stevens officiating and Hilda Perry will be singing. Following the services Mary will be laid to rest at the Harrah Cemetery, Backus Mountain. Family and friends will be serving as pallbearers.
