Mary Alice Watkins passed away January 8, 2011 in Duluth, Georgia. She was 81. Born in Louisa County, Virginia on October 30, 1929, she was the daughter of the late George and Louise Collins. Mary was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Dover until moving to Georgia in 2007. She was educated in the Morris School district and graduated from Morristown High School. She was employed by Picatinny Arsenal and later by Lyons Veterans Hospital until her retirement. During her retirement she owned/operated Alice Taxi service in Morristown.She was preceded in death by both her parents and her brother, Leroy R. Collins. Mary Leaves to cherish her memory one loving and devoted son Jonathan L. Watkins of Suwanee, GA and his wife Kelly; one sister Marion C. Veasey of Morristown; three granddaughters, Bianca M., LaJon L. and LaJean L. all of Suwanee, Georgia; one great-grandson Cameron, three nieces, two great nieces, and three god-sons.
