Mary Ann Bolwahnn, age 85, a resident of Albuquerque, NM, died December 24, 2011. She is survived by her husband, Fred L. Bolwahnn of the family home; seven daughters and two sons; Susan Baxter and husband Ed (Albuquerque, NM), Mary Wesling and husband John (Napa, CA), Lisa Norton and husband Charles (Artesia, NM), Joanna Oliver and husband Doug (Albuquerque, NM), Paul Hill and wife Lina (Albuquerque, NM), Sara Cadwell and husband Mike (Missoula, MT), Andrea Price and husband Scott (Sandy, UT), Patrick Bolwahnn and wife Mary (Amarillo, TX), and Dolores Moreno and husband Danny (Dalhart, TX). She is also survived by twenty-five grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Bolwahnn was born May 13, 1926 in Abilene, Texas to Charles Henry and Leila Josephine Noland. She attended Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene where she majored in Journalism. Originally moving to Albuquerque in 1946, she later lived in Virginia where she worked for the National Wildlife Federation and Salt Lake City and Las Vegas, NM, where she owned a flower shop before retiring in Albuquerque. Friends may visit French-Wyoming Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque, on Thursday, December 29, 2011, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. ¬¬ Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 30, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the French-Wyoming Chapel with interment to follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:15 p.m. Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of the Sandias, 105 Hospital Loop NE, Albuquerque, NM, 87109 or the Alzheimers Association of NM, 9500 Montgomery Blvd NE, Suite 121, Albuquerque, 87111.
