Mary Ann Brooks, 83, of Port St. Lucie, passed away, Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at Coral Springs Medical Center in Coral Springs, FL.
Mrs. Brooks was born in Huntington, New York. She had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for the past eighteen years coming from Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
She was a member and a Eucharistic Minister for Holy Family Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie, FL.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Archie E. Brooks, Sr.
Survivors include four sons, Archie Brooks Jr., of Coral Springs, FL, Larry Brooks of Yorktown, VA; Timothy Brooks of Albuquerque, NM; Barry Brooks Boca Rotan, FL; three daughters, Anne Barndt of Slatington, PA; Valerie Willie of East Brunswick, NJ; Maureen Wedley of Cottontown, TN; two sisters, Margaret Casale of Coca, FL, and Charida Budds of Huntington, NY; brother, Charles Beck of Riverside, CA; twenty grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
Visitation: Friends may call from 3:00 – 6:00 pm, Sunday, November 6, 2011 at Forest Hills – Byrd, Young & Prill Chapel in Port Saint Lucie, FL.
Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 am, Monday, November 7, 2011 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Port Saint Lucie, FL. Burial will be held at 2:15 pm at South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, FL.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Saint Vincent De Paul Society "In Memory of Mary Ann Brooks", 2330 SE Mariposa Avenue, Port St. Lucie, FL 34952.
