Devoted Wife, Mother and Grandmother. Mary Ann was a longtime resident of Southfield. In her early years she was a secretary for Warner Brothers, Inc. and also worked as a switch board operator for the gas company. However, after her marriage to Don on April 18, 1953, she devoted her life to her family. She loved to travel and took many trips……to Myrtle Beach to play golf, to California, Quebec, Minnesota and a lot of trips to see family. Mary Ann also enjoyed bowling and she loved to dance with her husband. She was a proud member of Mature Minglers, and did the mailings for the group. She was an active churchwoman and was a member of the group that watched over the Eucharist at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs. Most of all she was devoted to her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Beloved wife of the late Don for 43 years. Cherished mother of Bridget Hotaling (Peter), Karen Condra (John), and Shawn (Julie Bergeron). Devoted grandmother of Peter, Patrick, Charlotte, Emily, Colleen, Austin, Bryan, Sara, Mathias and Neil. Sister of Richard Rypczynski (Joan) and Genevieve Wayne (John). Family will receive friends at A.J. Desmond & Sons (Vasu, Rodgers & Connell Chapel), 32515 Woodward Ave., Royal Oak Tuesday 2-9pm, Rosary 7pm. Funeral Mass Wednesday 10am at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs, 32340 Pierce, Beverly Hills. Visitation at church begins 9:30am. Memorial tributes to Sjogrens Syndrome Foundation, 6707 Democracy Blvd., Ste 325, Bethesda, MD 20817.
