Mary B. Tenny of Loveland passed away to be with the Lord on November 23, 2010 at North Shore Health and Rehab Facility in Loveland. She was born on June 25, 1917 to Walter and Alberta (Raine) Baker in Benton, Wisconsin. The family moved to Galena, Illinois, where Mary graduated from High School in 1935. On February 22, 1940, she married Charles Tenny in Dubuque, Iowa. Charles passed away in 2007. They moved to Colorado in 1956. Family was very important to her. Mary was an incredible homemaker and was always quick to offer tea. She enjoyed reading, writing, poetry, the theatre, and she loved candy. She was an honest, understanding, and caring person. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two brothers. She leaves behind to mourn three children, Richard (Adrienne) Tenny of Alamosa, Bob (Margaret) Tenny of Centennial, and Barbara McReynolds of Loveland; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday at Resthaven Funeral Home. Interment Resthaven Memory Gardens. Following the interment, a reception will be held at the Resthaven Reception Center.
