Mary Brown Menesses, a native of Bamberg, South Carolina and a resident of St. Bernard Parish for over 67 years, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2012 at age 88. Beloved wife of the late James Menesses. Daughter of the late Charles and Lillie Brown. Sister of late Lucille Berry, Ed Brown and Rosalie Brown. Mother of Jimmy Menesses (Linda) Ricky Menesses (Angela) and the late Diane M. Nunez (Alfred Sr). Also survived by 9 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 3 great- great grandchildren. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Service at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 2805 Bayou Rd., St. Bernard, LA 70085 on Monday, February 6, 2012 at 10:00 a.m.
