I cant believe that this time last year you were laying here and I was praying that God would not make you suffer and He would take you home, well he listened to that prayer and tomorrow it will be one year. It has almost been a year since my Grandma passed away and it seems like tomorow I lost her.Man I miss her so much.Her always yelling at my kids to knock it off, or just simply asking me "where'd Chris go." I would always say Mom went to the store Grams, but I never got tired of saying it.Whats really funny is I remember staying at her apartment in Summer Run and I shaved my arms in the bath...Plus I remember when we went to the Oregon Grinder for Pizza,Man nothing beats that pizza.I miss you soo much Grandma, you are always with me.I love you.....

Every time I think of my child hood my grandma was there in that memory! Grandma were such a big part of my life and I miss you so much. My mom and Dad would not do nothing with out you. All of the camping trips that we made you were there. All of the Christmas and Thanksgiving you were there. I can not wait to see you again in Our Fathers Massion just like what dads song say. Through the years, I've heard nothing but wonderful stories about Mary. I've admired the devotion of her friends & family. From Judy & Mark moving back home to be close to her, to Lanny & Chris giving themselves completely 24/7, along with the dedicated support from their family.

As a caregiver, I can attest to the exceptional care Mary received. During the last ten years I worked in the field, I've never seen anything close to it. Caregiving takes ten years off of your life span. The plight of most of our elderly is to be dumped off in a facility where their spirit is broken. I have the highest respect for Lanny & Chris because they loved Mary enough to give up their personal time and freedom. May God reward them for a job well done.

Mary was 'one in a million'. She was gentle yet strong, kind yet fiesty, humble yet forthright, graceful, and quick-wit in all the right places. Here I am just a mere friend of the family and yet, she always had a way of making me feel special whenever I came over. And being at her funeral today, you made it clear how Mary's life impacted yours and how much you loved her. She lived a life well-lived.
