Middleburgh- Mary E. Bellinger, 78, of Armlin Hill Road, died Saturday, September 10, 2011 at Cobleskill Regional Hospital following a long illness.
Born March 20, 1933 in Summit, she was a daughter of Byron and Nellie (Dauley) Fancher.
Mary was a lifelong area resident, assisting daily on the Bellinger Dairy Farm, and was also a homemaker. She enjoyed canning throughout the year.
Mary was predeceased by a sister: Fannie Fancher, and three brothers: Raymond, Joseph, and Lewis Fancher.
Survivors include her husband, Alfred E. Bellinger, whom she married Aug. 21, 1954; her four children: Rex Bellinger (Charlotte Bell), Scott Bellinger (Jackie Trosterud), Martha Bellinger, and Paul (Tina) Bellinger, all of Middleburgh; her grandchildren: Bruce Martin, Christopher Bellinger, Lisa Porter, Todd Bell, Scott Bellinger, Jr., Brandon Armlin, Eric Bellinger, Christina Brimlow, Robert Kennedy, James Kennedy, Bonnie Fisher, Grant Crabill, and Kendra Bellinger; her great-grandchildren: Cody Martin, Hannah Martin, Dylan Bellinger, Carrington Bellinger, Alexia Bell, Destiny Trosterud, Layla Bellinger, Allison Bowen, Robert Kennedy, and Skylar Kennedy; three sisters: Barbara Blodgett of TX, Grace Panella of GA, and Lois Wagner of Nassau, NY; two brothers: Franklin Fancher of Sharon Springs and Wade Fancher of Carlisle and several nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service will be held at the family's convenience.
Memorial contributions may be made to Catskill Area Hospice and Palliative Care, 795 E. Main St., Suite 11, Cobleskill, NY 12043.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Palmer & Shaylor Funeral Home, 134 River St., Middleburgh and Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill.
