Mary Evelyn Ellis Miller

Mrs. Mary Evelyn Ellis Miller, age 81 of Hampton, Georgia passed away December 16, 2011. She was born in Omaha, Georgia to the late Charles Gordon and Mary Gretchen Lyons Ellis. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Leroy Miller; children, Wayne Miller, Elizabeth Ann Miller, John "Roy" Miller, Wesley Byrd; grandson, Patrick Crawford; brother, Charles Gordon Ellis, Jr. Mary was a member of Lovejoy Baptist Church. Survivors include her children, Mary Frances (Eddie) McMillan of Hampton and Eddie Miller of Stockbridge; grandchildren, Kelly (Jonathan) Carter, Karen Tallman, Shane McMillan, Michael, Brian and Austin Rowland, Jonathan and Jessica Byrd, Carol Crawford; great grandchildren, Mariya, Sara and Julia Carter, Micah-Shane Willis, Skylar and Jadyn Tallman; sister, Margaret (Pete) Dumas-Carter of Virginia; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, December 19, 2011 at 3:00 PM from the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Rev. James Reichert will officiate. Interment will follow in McDonough City Cemetery.
