MARY FRANCES DODSON GENTRY, age 74 of Manassas, Virginia died Sunday, May 4, 2008 at Prince William Hospital, Manassas, Virginia.

Mrs. Gentry was born April 30, 1934 in Rappahannock County, Virginia daughter of the late Milton H. Sr. and Vennie Clarke Dodson. She was retired from Prince William County School System.

Also preceded in death by her husband, Wiley Gentry; two sisters, Annie Jenkins and Barbara Berry and one brother, William B. Dodson

Survivors include two sons, Bill Gentry and wife Faye of Shelby, North Carolina and Ron Gentry and wife Mary of Nokesville, Virginia; two brothers, Milton H. Dodson, Jr. of Manassas, Virginia and John R. Dodson of Catlett, Virginia; four sisters, Lucille D. Atkins of Culpeper, Virginia, Lillian D. Jenkins of Boston, Virginia, Betty D. Keys and Shirley D. Dodson both of Slate Mills, Virginia; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. -12:00 Noon Friday, May 9, 2008 at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center Street, Manassas where funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon with Rev. Michael Dodson officiating. Interment will follow at Stonewall Memory Gardens, Manassas.
