Hazel Conrad Mary Hazel Conrad, 98, of Owensboro, Kentucky died Monday, April 2, 2012, at Owensboro Place Care & Rehabilitation. She was born on July 20, 1913 in McLean County, Kentucky to the late Martin Joseph and Addie Logsdon. She was a member of Blessed Mother Catholic Church. She enjoyed casino gambling and card playing, travelling and her flowers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Conrad on May 7, 1980 and by a son, John L. Conrad. The family of Mrs. Conrad sends their appreciation and thanks to the staff of Owensboro Place Care & Rehabilitation and to the staff of Hospice, especially Debbie and Kelly. She is survived by two daughters, Betty Rightmyer and Nancy Troutman both of Owensboro; ten grandchildren, Connie Lewis (Jeff), Roberta Jean Eckerd (Roy), John Conrad, Jr. (Mary Lou), Denny Conrad (Sandy), Dianna Wells (Alan) Louis Rightmyer (Debbie), Shirley Lazzeroni (Rodney), Louise Keach (Bill), Tammy Campbell (Don) and Deandra Troutman; numerous great grandchildren, including a very special great grandson, Joshua Campbell; a brother, Carl Logsdon (Teresa) of Whitesville, KY and several nieces and nephews. Services are at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 5, 2012, at the Chapel of James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory in Owensboro with Father John Meredith officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Livermore, KY. Visitation is from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and after 10:00 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home where prayers will be said at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hospice of Western Kentucky, 3419 Wathens Crossing, Owensboro, KY 42301.
