Mary J. Sneed departed this life on September 12, 2011 at the Compassionate Care Center in Dover, NJ. She was born in Rockingham, NC on January 1, 1926 and later moved to NJ in 2005 with with her son (Willie Leak, Jr.) and daughter-in-law (Gloria) because of declining health. Mary is survived by her son Willie Leak, Jr, and daughter-in-law, Gloria Leak of Dover, one daughter, Yvonne Alejandro of Fayetteville, NC, two brothers, Rosevelt Maske of Charlotte, NC and Robert Maske of Wash., DC, two sisters, Jennie Anderson of Phila, PA and Betty Hawywood of Charlotte, NC, three grandchildren, Kendra Donley, Shawn Bell, and Darryl Smith, twelve great-grand children and one great-great grandchild.
