I was reading the Pioneer Post and saw Mary Jo's name. Mary Jo was one of my very best friends over 40 years ago. As teens we had such adventures. We shared lots of laughs, tears and secrets. I was reading the Pioneer Post and saw Mary Jo's name. Mary Jo was one of my very best friends over 40 years ago. As teens we had such adventures. We shared lots of laughs, tears and secrets. Sing Out was a the impetus of a many of those adventures and huge part of our growing up. Over the years I would wonder what Mary Jo is up to? But I never acted on that thought, and I am so very, very sorry I didn't. I guess I always felt like there was plenty of time to do that later. And now it is too late to tell her how much her friendship meant to me. She was a bright star in my life, someone I will always hold in my memory and my heart with love and gratitude. I’m sorry I didn’t meet her children or know her life journey. My prayers to her family.

I believe very few people in this world loved her Dad and her family more than Mary Jo. She was and is an inspiration to us all.

I worked with MaryJo years ago at Osco in Silvis. So sad to hear of her passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you Justin.

Mary Jo was my neighbor for the last 11 years. Always very friendly and tolerated my children running through her yard! She will be missed.

Mary Jo's smile lit up the room wherever she went. I worked with her for several years at Osco Drug in Silvis. We had some great times. She will be greatly missed and keeping her family in my thoughts. R.I.P. my friend.

Peggy, I am so sorry to hear about Mary Jo. My memories of Mary Jo are vague, but I do remember her as always smiling. I understand your dad passed away last month as well. Mary-Jo was such a pleasure to work with. She could always make you laugh and whenever she was at the mall she would always stop and say hello to me. My condolences to her family. She will be missed.

Maryjo was a very kind woman. she will be missed i really enjoyed laughing with he and listening to her speak about how proud she was of her family.
