Mary K. Stier, 84, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2011 at Lutheran Life Villages in Kendallville. Born in Fort Wayne, IN, Mary retired from Jim Kelley Buick and was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church. She enjoyed water activities and life at the lake. Surviving are her daughters, Marydel (Tom) Gratz of Wolcottville and Linda (Mike) Campbell of Wabash; grandchildren, Teresa Gratz Downham, Denise Gratz Lorson, Matthew Gratz, Michael J Campbell Jr., Brian Campbell and Andrew Campbell; as well as 9 great-grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her husband Delmar Stier in 1972; parents, Frank and Ann Kratzman; sisters, Lucille Batchelder, Lenore Kratzman, Ruth Overmeyer and Marjorie VanSteenberg; brother, Robert Kratzman; and great-grandson, Samuel Lorson. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30am Thursday at St. Henry Catholic Church, 2929 E Paulding Rd, with Fr. Daniel Durkin officiating, calling one hour prior to Mass. Visitation also Wednesday 4 to 8pm at Mungovan and Sons Funeral Home, 2114 S. Calhoun St. Burial in Catholic Cemetery.
