Mary Lee Bird
Our loving mother and grandmother returned to her Heavenly Father on October 10th, 2011.
Mary Lee was born on September 30th, 1948 to George and Clara Nelson.
She married Bud C. Bird on October 27th, 1966. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake City Temple on December 12th 1967.
Mom's ultimate joy in life was her family, a more dedicated mother and grandmother you could not find. She treasured each and everyone of her grandchildren. She revelled in spending time with them whenever and wherever she could. You would find her house filled with pictures of her children and grandchildren. She knew every family members birthday right down to the youngest great grandchild.
She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints and had a beautiful testimony of our Heavenly Father and Savior.
She is survived by her husband Bud C. Bird, her children Scott (Misti), Bird, Stacy (Gary) Dean, Brett (Lisa) Bird, Kimberly (Rawlyn) Nieman, 20 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, her brothers Marvin (Janice), Sister-in-law Ilene, Michael (Carla), Steve (Siriphan), Janet (Steve). She is preceded in death by her parents George and Clara and her brother Richard.
Viewing will be at Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 646 E 800 N, Orem, on October 14th, 2011 from 6-8 in the evening. Funeral services will be held on Saturday October 15th, 2011 at 11 am at the Sharon 4th Ward church on 445 S 700 E Orem, UT. Interment will be in the Orem City Cemetery.
