Mary Lou Sampson, 65, of Cabot passed away Monday, October 29, 2012. She was of the Methodist faith and retired from Arkansas Department of Corrections after more than 35 years of employment. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her paternal uncle, James Sampson, of Emmet, Arkansas; maternal aunt, Betty Nelson, of Kennett, Missouri and a host of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Garland and Dola Mae Sampson.
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society , 901 N. University Ave., Little Rock, Arkansas 72207.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday in the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Burial will be in Rest Hills Memorial Park. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
