Mary Louise Henderson Maples, age 85 of Knoxville, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2009 at her home. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Knoxville where she served in many capacities including church Deacon. Mary Louise was also a sustaining member of the Akima Club. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Johnston and Ollie Victoria McClurg Henderson; brothers, Armon, Kenneth, Bernard, Max and Robert Henderson; husband, Carl F. Maples, Sr. Mary Louise is survived by her children and their spouses, Carl F. Maples Jr. and Donna Maples of Roswell, GA, Mary Ann and Dr. Bill Pickard of Rogers, AR, Nancy Louise Maples Welch of Knoxville, TN, David Stephen and Sallye Maples of Findlay, OH; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sisters, Lois Henderson Clement of Phoenix, AZ and Jewel Henderson Walden of San Diego, CA; several nieces and nephews.
