Mrs. Mary Louise Turner was born on June 20, 1920 in Clarkdale, Mississippi to the union of Victoria Neal and Alexander Johnson. Her parents preceded her in death. She attended the Shard School system in Mississippi. She was joined in holy matrimony to the late George Turner Sr. and to this union 4 children was born, Robert Lee Latchinson, Irma Jean Turner, George Turner and Terry Turner. She professed her hope in Christ at an early age at The Antioch Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Collins. Mary was a loving kind, person. She loved talking on the phone to her sister, and her best friend, Ossie Brown. She brought love and laughter to her family and friends. She departed this life on November 20, 2011 at 6:30 p.m. at her home. She leaves to cherish in her memory: 1 daughter, Robert Lee Latchinson, 2 sons, George Turner and Terry Turner; 3 sisters, Ossie Brown, Cora Barkins and Elizabeth Carter (deceased) three brothers, Alex, Raymond, and Loyd Johnson; 11 grandchildren; Virginia, Sheila, Ina, Carmen, Mark, Johnny, Judy, Chris, Erice (deceased); Tony Shawn and Stephanie; 7 great grandchildren, Henry, Marlon, Montrell Scott, India, Isaiah, and Itiah; a host of nieces, and nephews; and a special niece, Barbara Jean Walls.
