Mary Meadows

Mary Meadows of Beckley went home to be with her Lord, on Friday December 9, 2011. Mary was the daughter of the late Van and Asia Bradley Hunter.
Mary was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, was a 12 year member of the United Methodist Temple in Beckley, but the joy of her life was taking care of her family.
In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by one brother Robert Hunter and one sister Stollie Kuhn.
Those left to cherish Mary's memory include, her husband Pilgrim Meadows of Beckley, her son Philip Meadows of Beckley, her daughter Barbara Skelton and her husband Mike of Herrin, Illinois, her grandsons Chris Skelton and wife Courtney of Marion, Illinois, Josh Skelton of Pittsburg, Illinois, and granddaughter Linsday Tabor and husband Justin of Carterville, Illinois. Her great-grandchildren Bella Skelton of Marion, Illinois and Noah Tabor of Carterville, Illinois. Two brothers James Hunter and his wife Christine of Virginia, and Gene Hunter of Virginia and her sister Patricia Smith of Virginia, and a host of nieces, nephews and loved friends.
Services will be held Monday December 12, 2011 at 1:00 pm at Blue Ridge Funeral Home with Pastor Chuck Pullins officiating.
Friends may gather with the family from 6-9pm Sunday evening December 11, 2011 at the Funeral Home.
