Mary Louise Neals, 69, of Apopka passed away at home after battling pancreatic cancer, on November 19, 2009. Mary Lou, as she was affectionately known, was born in Irvington, NJ to George and Stella Mueller in 1940. She spent many years as a hard-working single mom until she married Herbert Neals in October of 1972. He worked for the telephone company and moved the family to Florida in August of 1973 to begin their new life. She worked for Red Lobster, starting as a waitress and working her way up to the Darden corporate offices. Mary Lou enjoyed bowling, floral design, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her children: MaryEllen Ferderber (Rob), Mickey Neals (Annette), and Ronnie Neals; step-children Felicia Steele (Jim) and Bobby Neals; grandchildren: Meghan Neals, A.J. Neals, R.J. Neals, and Vincent Tihoni; great grandchildren Cerino Tihoni, Jacob Tihoni and Liam Perez; mother Stella; five sisters and two brothers as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Alan D. Neals and husband, Herbert Neals.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Comforter, 605 Montgomery Rd., Altamonte Springs, FL 32714.
