Services for Mary Rozalene Weir, 68, of College Station, are set for 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 27, 2011, at Strickland Funeral Home in Caldwell. Interment will follow at Masonic Cemetery under the care and direction of Strickland Funeral Home of Caldwell. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, September 26, 2011, also at the funeral home. Mrs. Weir passed away September 23, 2011, at College Station Medical Center. Rozalene was born August 25, 1943, to Louis J. Cline and Leota Blanche (Lee) Cline in Houston, Texas. She was a graduate of Houston Baptist College, where she earned her Masters Degree in Education. She then taught special education for eight years at Caldwell Intermediate and Elementary Schools and two years in Houston. She was a member of the Caldwell Church of Christ. Rozalene married Larry Weir on July 26, 1963, in Madisonville, Kentucky. Survivors include her husband Larry; son, Eric Lee Weir of College Station; daughter and son-in-law, Valerie and Andrew Barrera of College Station; grandchildren, Matthew Weir, Kane Barrera, Phoenix Barrera, Raven Barrera, and Brooklynn Barrera. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.
