Mary (Mae) C. Smith (nee Curran) On September 3, 2011, of Forked River, NJ, formerly of Cedar Grove, NJ. Devoted mother of Patricia Smith of Alexandria, VA; Gayle (Joseph) Glendenning of Raleigh, NC; and Maureen (Kenneth) Pross of Chardon, OH. Beloved Granny of Christine (John) Wyman of Washington, DC; Michael Glendenning of Raleigh; and Robert Glendenning of Raleigh. Loving inspiration to many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Family and friends are welcomed to attend celebrations of her life held in Virginia and/or New Jersey. Repass/lunch immediately following at The Hanover Manor, 16 Eagle Rock Avenue, East Hanover. Mae embraced life each day of her 90 years. She loved her family and friends as well as gardening and Irish dancing. Donations can be made to Popcorn Park Zoo, 1 Humane Way, Forked River, NJ 08731 in memory of Mary Smith.
