Mary Staugaard, 82, of Oxford, NJ, passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Warren Haven Nursing Home, Mansfield Township, NJ, with her loving family at her side. Born on September 11, 1928 in Oxford, NJ, she was the daughter of the late John and Anastasia Kowal. Mrs. Staugaard was of the Catholic faith. She was a wonderful seamstress and homemaker. A dedicated mother and grandmother, she received loving care from all the nurses at Warren Haven Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Joseph R. Staugaard who died on January 2, 2006. Surviving are a daughter, Cheryl Rufe of Catasauqua, PA; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Staugaard was predeceased by her son, Joseph R. Jr.; four sisters, Ann, Rose, Kate and Eve; a brother, John.
