Mrs. Mary Jaynes Walker, age 76, of Locust Grove, Georgia passed away September 22, 2011. Mrs. Walker was born in Reform, AL the daughter of the late Lee Roy and Frances Bryant Jaynes. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Buddy Jaynes. Mrs. Walker was a devoted Christian woman who enjoyed serving the Lord with her husband in the ministry. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed being a devoted homemaker, she enjoyed cooking, traveling and doing for others. She was a member of Philippi Baptist Church. Survivors are her husband of 58 years, Rev. Oscar Walker of Locust Grove; children, Patti Hays (Milton) of McDonough, Cindy Kroeger (Paul) of Dallas and Ricky Walker (Tina) of Long Beach, CA ; 3 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; sisters, Brenda Pollard, Becky Webb, and Shellie Evans; brother, Darryl Jaynes and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service for Mrs. Walker will be Sunday, September 25, 2011 – 2:00 PM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Rev. Pete Page officiating. Interment will follow at County Line Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening from 4 – 7:00 PM. Haisten Funeral Home – McDonough 770-914-8833
