Maryann T. (Bertolino) Garalis Maryann T. (Bertolino) Garalis, 78, beloved wife of Charles Garalis, of Stone Mountain, Georgia, formerly of Gloucester, died on Friday, Dec. 4, in Atlanta, Georgia. She was born in Gloucester, MA on May 12, 1931, daughter of the late Francis Paul Bertolino and Ina (Safina) Bertolino. Mrs. Garalis moved with her family to Stone Mountain, Georgia, in 1972. Maryann will be most remembered for her commitment and dedication to Christ, husband and family, unconditional love of life and participating and attending every one of her grandchildren’s activities. She will always be remembered by her family and friends. Mrs. Garalis is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Charles Garalis of Stone Mountain, Georgia; 3 children, Charles Garalis and his wife Jeanne of Dallas, TX, Dianne Kaseta and her husband Kevin, Elizabeth Garalis, all of Atlanta, GA, 5 beautiful grandchildren, Brittany Garalis, Charles Garalis Jr., Garrison Kohler, McKensey Kaseta, Tyler Elizabeth Kaseta; a brother, Anthony Bertolino and family, a sister, Bridget Sala and family; and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. She was pre-deceased by her sisters, Christine Bertolino and Josephine Bertolino; brothers, Jerome Bertolino, Francis Paul Bertolino and Xavier Bertolino. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady of Good Voyage Church, 142 Prospect St., Gloucester, MA on Thursday, Dec.10, at 9:30 am. Relatives and friends are cordially invited. The burial will be on Calvary Cemetery. There will be no visiting hours. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Greely Funeral Home, 212 Washington St., Gloucester.
