Stamford, NY: Maryhelen “Mickey” King, 71, formerly of Breakabeen, NY, died peacefully, Saturday August 14, 2010 at Robinson Terrace in Stamford, NY following a long illness.

Mickey was born on March 9, 1939 in Queens, NY, the daughter of the late Helen (Perrin) and Gustave Koenig.

Mickey was a devoted homemaker that loved her family and close friends. She also loved animals, especially cats.

Besides her parents, Mickey was predeceased by an infant son, Dale Ralph King in 1977.

Mickey is survived by her husband, Ralph “Butch” King of Stamford, NY and her sisters-in-law: Patricia (Robert) Benkert of Kingston, NY, Melody (Harry) Desposito of Kinderhook, NY, Peggy Sue (Ernest) Brink of Durham, NY, Dorothy (Bradley) Ingraham of Breakabeen, NY; and her brothers-in-law: Wayne King and Mark (Susan) King both of Breakabeen, NY; many nieces and nephews and special friends: Viola and Ralph “Pete” Slater of Middleburgh, NY.

At the family’s request, there will be no public services or visitation. Private burial will be in the Breakabeen Cemetery, Breakabeen, NY.
