She chose to end her life in the same way that you lost Matthew. It is something we cannot control, predict or prevent. I would like to share my gratitude for all the years he has been an Officer. We were so sorry to hear of Matt's death. We did not find out until the services were over. We want you to know you are in our thoughts and prayers, Loosing a child has to be one of the hardest things a parent would ever have to go through.

Dear Family,

My husband went to High School with Matt and was in K-9's during the time Matt was serving there. I remember Matt from the Job and talked with him many times. We were really sad to hear about Matt and have fond memories of Matt. I will miss seeing Matt and his skinny tall self. Our hearts and prayers are with your family at this time. He was loved throughout the law enforcement community.

I'm saddened to learn the loss of Matt. It's been many years since I've been in his life, but I thought of him often. My prayers are with you at this difficult time. God Bless you Jewkes family.
