Matthew Charles Weable, 18, of Columbia, passed away on November 19, 2009 at Boone Hospital Center after a sudden illness.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 23, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home in Columbia. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 – 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 22 at the funeral home.
Matthew was born January 28, 1991 in Columbia to Michael and Melanie Murray Weable.
He was a 2009 graduate of Rock Bridge High School. Matthew was an avid Missouri Tiger fan who also enjoyed music, playing his bass guitar and playing X-Box and hanging with his friends. He loved the outdoors especially fishing and hunting. He was able to get his 2009 deer just a couple of days ago. He had been an employee of the County Club of Missouri.
Matthew will be greatly missed and will always be remembered as someone who loved his family and spending time with his brother, Andrew and niece Emma-Rae who always referred to him as her “Uncle Matt Matt”.
He is survived by his parents; brother, Andrew Weable of Phoenix, Arizona; niece Emma-Rae Weable of Phoenix; grandmothers, Alice M. Murray and Inge Weable Decker and many other aunts, uncles and cousins.
Matthew was preceded in death by grandfathers, Charles Weable, Otsie J. Murray and Robert Decker.
