Mrs. Maud E. Wilcox

Mrs. Maud E. (Eckert) Wilcox of Cambridge passed away on June 25, 2009 at home. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward T. Wilcox, who died in 1998.

Born in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Thor F. and Gerda (Ysberg) Eckert. She worked for over 30 years as an editor in chief at the Harvard University Press until her retirement in 1989.

She was the loving mother of Bruce Gordon Wilcox of Amherst, MA, Karen Ann Wilcox of Wellesley, MA, Eric Douglas Wilcox of Billerica, MA, and the late Thor Frederick Wilcox.
