Maudie Ruth Young Stribling was born November 3, 1930, to the parentage of Clenon and Ruby Young in Sulphur Springs, Texas.
She was a loving and caring woman who led a rich life; Maudie was an outstanding employee and was a retiree of Zales Corporation.
Maudie professed faith in Jesus Christ. She was a longtime member of Beckley Heights Church of Christ.
She was united in Holy Matrimony to Mark Stribling for sixty three years. To this union, three children were born, Sherion, Stanley and Grace Lynn.
Maudie departed this earthly life on Monday, September 26, 2011.
Those left to cherish her memory include: a devoted and loving husband, Mark Jr.: two daughters, Sherion and Grace (Robert) a son, Stanley and step-son Clifton (Vernell). Two sisters, Sandra (Joe Wilkerson), Clifford Ann (Marvin Dial), three brothers, Troycel Young (Oretha), Charles Young (Earlene),and Jackie Young. Four grandsons, Christopher Stribling (Tiffany), Jason Stribling (Carmen), Gary Stribling, Jonathan Stribling and eight grand grandchildren, a host of sister and brother-in-laws, nieces, nephew, relatives and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Travis and Ellis Young and a sister Clennell Stribling.
