McKenna Shea Johnson, age 18, of Milton, passed away on May 31, 2013 at Vanderbilt Medical Center. McKenna was a member of World Outreach Church and graduated from Siegel High School on May 19, 2013. She was an honor student and received the DAR Award. McKenna had a genuine passion for horses and was a highly decorated rider. She also enjoyed spending time with her dogs.

McKenna was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Arthur Johnson and Larry McGinn. She is survived by her parents, Ritch and Guen McGinn Campbell; and Scott and Lauren Johnson; twin sister, Alanna Johnson whom she had a unique and special relationship with; step-brother, Blake Gillum; grandparents, Lucille Johnson, Regina McGinn, Butch and Janie Campbell, and Carol Solomon; uncles, Alan McGinn, Chris Campbell and Neal Scott; and aunts, Brenda Mullins, Jayne Baughman and Sandra Hamby.

Church service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 3, 2013 at World Outreach Church; 1921 New Salem Road, Murfreesboro, TN with Rev. Allen Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery with friends serving as active pallbearers.

Visitation will be on Sunday, June 2, 2013 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Jennings & Ayers Funeral Home; 820 South Church St., Murfreesboro, TN 37130. 615-893-2422. Please leave condolences at www.jenningsandayers.com

In lieu of flowers, friends of McKenna have established a fund in her name at Pinnacle Bank to honor her life and her favorite charities. Donations can be made at any Pinnacle Bank location, to the Lymphatic Research Foundation or Make A Wish Foundation.
