Melba Howard was born on December 21, 1946 in Elizabeth, New Jersey daughter of Nettie Spikes Womack and Henry Womack. She lived in Elizabeth for 18 years before moving to Roselle, New Jersey in 1971. She attended Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia where she studied Melba was employed as an Assembler at Western Electric in Union, New Jersey for 17 years before she retired in 1985. She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Roselle. She enjoyed and was dedicated to doing missionary work. Melba Howard departed this life on Monday, April 18, 2011 at home. She was predeceased by a daughter, Cheryl Bussey on October 26, 2001. She leaves to cherish fond memories, a granddaughter, Alisha-Ann Marie Bussey; three great grandchildren, Cherylaya Hughes, Zyann Bussey and Nassiah Bussey; her twin sister, Marva Goins of Roselle, NJ; a brother, Henry Womack of Elizabeth, NJ; a nephew, Kalon Goins of Atlanta, GA and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
