Melissa Ann Fields January 16, 1980 - March 5, 2013 Melissa Ann Fields of Waco went to be with the Lord Tuesday, March 5, 2013. Services will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 11, at Lovingkindness Ministries with the Pastor Donald Hooks officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., and prayer service starts at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, March 10, at Brazos Funeral Home. Melissa was born January 16, 1980, in Waco to Ben Pecina and Gloria Lujan. Melissa was a loving and kind daughter, mother, sister and a great friend to all, and she lifted up everyone with her smile and personality. She enjoyed spending time with her two boys. Melissa enjoyed her work at H.E.B., working with all her HEB BUDDIES. She was a member of Lovingkindness Ministries in Waco. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. She is survived by her parents; her husband, Vincent E. Fields, Sr., and her sons, Vincent Fields, Jr., and Ja'Den E. Fields; sisters, Christina Michelle Pecina and husband, Chris Cervantez, Sr., and Kelly Pecina; brothers, Joseph Pecina and wife, Laura, Teodulo (TJ), and Ben Pecina; nieces, Alizandra, and Anna Pecina; nephews, Chris, Jr., Jonathan and Adam Cervantez, Joseph Eric and Jason Pecina. Pallbearers are Christopher Cervantes, Jr., D'Angelo Barnes, David Pecina, Victor Rogers, Ryan Rogers, Chris Lujan, Sergio Arjon, Donald Hooks II and Brian McVan.
