Melvin Davis
April 19, 1949-December 9, 2011
Mr. Davis, 62, of Bowling Green, KY died Friday morning in Huntsville, Al. He was a US Army Veteran of Vietnam, where he received the Purple Heart. He was the Vice president for the UAW #2164 in Bowling Green, KY.
He is survived by his three daughters- Nicole Smith and husband William, Katie Bates and husband Carlos and Melba Davis; one son Towanga Dyson and his wife Michelle; brothers- Tim Lewis, Michael Lewis, Robert Lewis Jr. and Julian Lewis; sisters- Beverly Smith, Delores McVay, Theresa Dilworth and Sandra Thorpes and six grandchildren.
The Funeral Service will be Saturday at 1:00pm at Valhalla Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to service. The interment will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
